Blanche Nettles Powers is a Georgia-based artist whose practice spans painting and installation. Informed by the material sensibilities of Dansaekhwa and an interest in patterns found in natural environments, her work moves between two-dimensional surfaces and constructed forms.
Nettles Powers has presented solo exhibitions at Laney Contemporary (Savannah), Kim Foster Gallery (New York), and the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has participated in residencies at MASS MoCA, Vermont Studio Center, and SCAD’s New York Studio Workspace, and was selected for the inaugural 2026 Ossabaw Island Residency. She has also received fellowships from Jentel Foundation and Anderson Ranch Arts Center and completed commissions for Mercedes-Benz Stadium and SCAD. She holds an MFA in painting from SCAD.
